James “Jamie” Fine (Ph.D, Energy and Resources Group, University of California at Berkeley, B.S., Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania), is an economist and policy scientist in the energy program. His areas of research and advocacy include design and implementation of cap-and-trade and other market-based policy, modeling the economic impacts of environmental policies, and the deployment of smart grid to maximize environmental benefits.
