Harish Mehta Interoperability among standards for exchange of information is one of the major gating issues in creating a competitive Smart Grid market space. US Congress has chartered NIST to facilitate individual Standards Development Organizations activities in addressing these issues. May I request the panel members to identify experiences and specific achievements to date, and further actions needed to deal with legacy standards and legacy installations? Harish Mehta, Mehta Tech, Inc.
Steve Widergren Hi Dr. Mehta. Great to hear of your interest in this panel. Your comments are right in line with dialogue that has occurred in the organizational discussions of this panel. I think you'll hear commentary touching on some of these points, but don't be shy about bringing up your points directly should you feel they are not being addressed.
