Conference Objectives

GridWeek is a unique opportunity for a variety of organizations focused on grid modernization to hold private meetings and participate in collaborative sessions that include leading speakers on grid modernization activities.

Key Subjects Covered at GridWeek

The preponderance of current energy debate is about the cost and availability of oil, alternative energy, efficiencies, security and green sustainable renewable sources.

A new realization is emerging that this new view of energy will result in decentralized components of the electricity grid, a far cry from the central generation and structured system of the past.

A smart information network—the Internet—for the electric grid is seen as necessary to manage and automate this new world. GridWeek is focused on this vision.
