EPACT 1252 Status Report and Scorecard

This session will feature members of the demand response community from around the country talking about what is happening in their area and what might be happening in the future. The session will also feature two special topics. One is the emergence of legislation on Capitol Hill that could impact demand response- key staff attorneys from both the Senate and House Energy Committees will be discussing that with attendees. The other topic is the impact of the last federal legislation, EPACT, which included a number of demand response provisions, most notably the requirement that each state investigate demand response and advanced metering. Attendees will be briefed on what the states have done in response to this requirement.
