This Session will feature leaders from electric utilities focusing on their views about the current grid system, its ongoing and planned transformation, the needs for and value from the transformation, and challenges and opportunities. Collectively, the Panel will provide sound perspectives about what is involved in building for the grid of the future, what technology systems are needed, and the associated values and/or business cases. Many lessons-learned exchanges are expected from the presentations and the ensuing dialogs.
