Bob Dalrymple 

Acting Vice President of Transmission and Reliability

Bob is currently the Acting Vice President of Transmission and Reliability in TVA’s Power System Operations Organization. In this capacity, he is responsible for operating one of the country’s largest Public Power regions which includes system operations, reliability coordination, transmission provider, and grid dispatching. He serves as the lead operational contact for the TVA System Operations Center and he also heads TVA’s Emergency Operations Center.

Bob began his career with TVA as an electrical engineer in Transmission and Customer Service; since that time he has served TVA in several capacities in the areas of transmission maintenance, customer service, and system operations in both the Tennessee and Alabama regions.

Bob has more than 18 years of experience in power system design, maintenance and operations, as well as customer service.

He is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
